Description
The mental spawn and the namesake gathered together for her ‘mother’ to enjoy in some way, shape or form. This painting as been an ongoing process for over eight months now and I’m happy to say that its finished now.
I’ve been up and down many highs and lows and dead end roads and everything else over the course of its making. Today, when I woke, I decided to paint. After staring at my pallet with my brushes on it for several weeks I’d decided I needed to attempt to finish this up.
I took a few risks in its creation. I’d never painted a sunset and nature elements, in general, are nothing I’ve any extreme amount of practice with. Even the clouds were hard to get to just the right transparency so that they were present enough.
That being said, it was an effort I’d wanted to put into it for her…
